We recently purchased this housing to take to the Caribbean. We followed the directions for testing the case and used it snorkeling many times during the week. It worked great! All functions of the camera worked easily. I only removed the camera from the case to change the battery to avoid problems with sand or water. Pictures taken with the housing on land were normal. The quality of the pictures using the camera underwater were initially disappointing. When we enhanced the pictures on our computer they were wonderful. We recommend this product for anyone who has the Olympus FE 170 and likes the water!

This DVD should be titled "Introduction to Basic Photographic Techniques & Camera Operation, with Specific Reference to the Olympus E-520". As such, I would rate it 4 stars - & would probably not have purchased it! Being an avid amateur photographer (& one who enjoys becoming familiar with a new camera via a thorough study of its operating manual), I found this DVD to be a complete waste of time & money. Approximately half of the video is devoted to an explanation of basic camera operation & photographic techniques - the other half is simply a video presentation of much of what is contained in the supplied manual for the E-520. If you're a beginning photographer (especially one who doesn't like to read instruction manuals), this video would definitely be a worthwhile purchase. If you have a modicum of photographic experience & savvy, read the manual, save your money for a new lens, & spend your time making images!

Purchased this DVD to learn more about my camera and got so much more.Great presentation,Explains functions well and shows you the buttons he is pushing.Have your camera ready to follow along.Also shows different styles of shooting.I am new to digital photography.I thought it was easy to understand.Great menu setup easy to go back and review certain sections. I will be refering back to this DVD often to add some style to my photography.Thanks QuickPro!!!

I bought 2 batteries for an Olympus E510. An Olympus and a Fotorama. The latter performed as well as the old battery I wanted to replace and cost 1/10 of the Olympus. The brand battery is worth the extra 9/10.

THE BATTERIES THAT I RECIEVED ARE GREAT PRICE EXCEPT TAG COLOR DIFFERNT , BUT GENUINE OLIMPUS .

I bought this battery a couple years ago & it still recharges just like new. Nothing like my energizer rechargables! lol

The knock-off replacement batteries just don't hold as much power. Go for the real deal "Olympus" batteries and you will be pleased.

This battery work fine with my E-510, I tried an after market battery and it didn't perform like the original. I highly recommend the BLM-01.

It is a sinking feeling when you are taking pictures and then your battery dies. I ordered this battery to have an "extra" and I am so glad I did. It even came in a little plastic pouch to keep in my pocket. At my granddaughter's graduation it happened again, but I was prepared this time. I recommend that anyone who owns an Olympus camera should have one or two extra rechargeable batteries on hand.

This is so nice, being able to find the battery she needed for her camera. My daughter bought a camera and had to buy a charger and battery. But after awhile, the battery is no longer holding a charge. She just needed to find a new battery. There is nobody around us that had any. The prices on Amazon are so great she got some to spare. Now she is back to taking lots of pictures.

These batteries were purchased as back-ups. They were exactly what we needed and were a good price. The shipping was quick.

The Stylus Verve batteries I received were brand new, in original packaging. I received two new batteries for far less than the cost of a single battery at retail, even with shipping and handling. One battery is now in the camera and working perfectly.

At the price I paid for this, it was not long before I WENT BACK and ordered more. This is the exact battery that comes with the camera, not a knock off or cheap model.

I have a Olympus EVOLT E-520 Camera. This Battery is very good and not expensive (half as Olympus Battery).

I usually buy extra batteries for my digital cameras (whether rechargeable AA or proprietary). I've had some real bad experiences with prop. replacement batteries in the past but so far, I've been very happy with the Lenmar. I lasts just as long as the original Oly battery for half of the price. I'm thinking about buying a second one while it is still available on Amazon. I certainly recommend it.

Worked well, well protected the camera and got nice underwater shots. The bag does make hard to see what is being shot.

I used this on a recent trip where I was snorkeling. It worked well but it's good to recognize reality and have the correct expectations. The lens standout is not long enough and zooming is impossible because of this. The lens has to be perfectly aligned with the standout to allow the lens to come out when you turn it on. Vignetting was visible in many shots because the lens was not perfectly lined up. Outdoors in the light it is hard to see the lcd screen so difficult to see subject matter of the picture. Another difficulty was manipulating controls through the plastic. With all that why 4 stars? Cheap liberating fun. not national geographic pics, but was well worth it.

This is a great alternative to expensive and bulky waterproof cases. I was a little skeptical at first because of the price, but I took this product to Bermuda with me and went snorkeling with it. I probably spent more hours in the water chasing after fish than I would have otherwise. The other really awesome thing is that I was still able to change all the settings on the touch screen. The only problem I did have was that I left too much air in the case and the camera shifted around a bit. It was no problem getting it to go back were it was suppose to be, but some pictures were messed up a bit. I blame that more on user error. A lot of people use the words, "great product for the price." I think is a great product period, the cheap price is just another bonus feature!

I purchased the DiCAPac WP-711 to protect my Sony SuperSteadyShot DSC-t100, which became my second camera when I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-tZ5 for its HD movie mode and compatibility with my MAC. Living near Monterey Bay, we do a lot of boating and kayaking and have often lamented not having a good camera to take pictures of all the amazing wildlife we are able to get pretty close to. Having been really happy with the quality of the Sony, we didn't want to have to spend another $300 or more for a comparable underwater model just to avoid saltwater splash or unexpected immersion, especially since complete immersion was never our intention. This relatively inexpensive cover seemed a good compromise. It is essentially a sturdy plastic envelope, with a heavy duty zip closure like you'd find on a sandwich bag. After seal and closure, the end is then folded down several times, like a coffee bag, resulting in a strip of velcro which aligns with a corresponding strip on a long tab located about 1/3 into the length of the envelope. Another flap is then folded over to attach to its own strip of velcro. The resulting watertight package has a couple of holes through which to attach the double-ended lanyard so you can carry the case and camera around your neck. We know the water protection works for at least a short period of time, since my husband immediately dropped the camera, protected by the bag, into the bay stepping into his kayak the first time we tried the DiCAPac out. No water incursion. We take a lot of video with our little Sony, and were pleased that the audio came through the heavy plastic just fine. Pictures were clear as well, despite the layer of plastic. THE ONE CRITICISM we have so far during our short period of ownership is that the rectangular polycarbonate rectangle positioned in the upper left corner to protect the lens is so narrow that if the camera moves around in the bag you end up with the black border around the DiCAPac lens obscuring part of your shot. When I ordered the case I did a specific search in Amazon for my Sony model, and the DiCAPac WP-711 came up, therefore, I assumed it was sized for my model camera. It is, in fact, big enough to accommodate larger models of digital cameras which have the lens in the upper left corner. This extra room may be intentional in order to allow manipulation of the sliding lens cover within the bag, but we lost a lot of close-up shots of me in my kayak four feet from dozing sea lions due to the black band around the lens panel slipping across the aperture. We are going to compensate for this by stuffing something into the case to wedge the camera so that the lens remains aligned with the narrow lens rectangle of the case. This will make manipulation of the sliding lens cover harder, but since frequent sliding of the cover might result in unnecessary wear on the case, we will leave the sliding cover open and turn the camera off with the power button exclusively while it is protected by the case. I notice that Amazon carries other models of the DiCAPac from different vendors with differing degrees of description, at least one that does not give dimensions. For the price, we can't complain too much about the inconvenience of jury-rigging the case to keep the camera properly positioned. It keeps water and wet, salty fingers from making contact with the camera, as well as water-damage from shallow immersion (based on our limited experience), so it does exactly what we require it to do.

Amazon are stealers i bought an 8 gb memory card and they gave me a 2 gb card

this card will hold tons of photos for such a small card. even with my E420 set on one of the highest settings it will still hold 830 photos before it is full.

This new chips means my son can now take thousands of pics on his older camera using the same chip. Hope to get more grandkid pics now.

I was very happy with my purchase. The price was good and the product arrived within a few days of ordering. NO problems!!

No complaints about it. It does what it is supposed to do. It has little space for storaging files, but who's going to buy a 1GB card expecting to have 2GB of space?????

Good product, has more than enough room to hold all the pictures I have taken thus far.

I have three, in different MB and GB sizes. I use one only for taking pictues of my husband's car restorations from day one til they are road ready. I use a larger GB one for my wild bird pictures and family pictures. I like it but it is so tiny it won't fit in either of my computers to upload the pics so I have to use the cable which eats camera battery life. My next camera will have a more readily available and larger dimensions picture card.

Hooray for Memory Cards that work. Not much else to say about this. Good price I suppose. Shipping packaging was a little excessive in my opinion.
