Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffeemaker Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffeemaker

Reviews

My husband is the coffee drinker in our household and I think we finally found the coffeemaker of his dreams. After 50 plus years , we have it. s

Well, what does one say about a coffee maker? It makes coffee. I agree with some other reviewers that the water fill port is located a little bit awkwardly, but this is not a huge deal. The graduation marks in the water reservoir are useless; you really can't see how much water is in there, so you need to measure out your water before pouring it in. It has some nice features. I like the programmable auto shutoff timer, and the 1-4 Cup setting really does somehow make better coffee when brewing a small amount. The black and brushed steel design matches nicely with our other kitchen appliances. Similar features and brewing quality can probably be found at a lower price point, but I guess we pay for design and build quality, too.

This coffeemaker does everything I expect a coffeemaker to do....brews a good pot of coffee very quickly and keeps it hot until I have finished the whole pot. I have two of these, one at the office and one at home. I am very happy with them both.

My last coffee maker died this week. It's been behaving erratically for months. So, I did the research on the net, and found this one. It's a snap to set up, is simple and handsome, and it covers all the bases for function. It makes a great cup of coffee, a full 12-cup brew took so little time that I thought the sound signal that it was finished might be a mistake, LOL. The carafe is wide-mouthed glass, so it's easy to get my hand inside it to wash it thoroughly. It offers the option to use either a permanent filter (well, they do wear out, but are easily replaceable), or, to use #4 paper filters. The filter lifts out easily for disposal. The Brew Central even comes with it's own coffee measure. I haven't used a machine that has a timer feature before. It will be fun to set this up to have hot, fragrant coffee ready for me when I awaken in the morning. I'm thrilled to have found it.

The system works well -except for a major design flaw. The indicator for the amount of water you put in is inside the coffeemaker and is useless unless you are making ten cups or more. Previous Cuisinart coffeemakers had an exterior water level indicator. Now one has to measure the water in the carafe, then pour the water into the machine - a two-step process.

Stay in bed ten minutes longer - the coffee will brew itself! Cuisinart's sleek coffee maker delivers a bold, aromatic brew whenever you want it, maximizing flavor with its two brewing cycles and variable temperature control...

I've had several toaster ovens in the past but this one surpasses them all. It comes with several well-made pans, including a round pizza pan. I've never had a toaster oven produce toast the way I like it before now. As far as baking and reheating, it performs as well as a large oven. This has been a great purchase!

Great oven, does everything as advertised. I have had it 4 weeks and use is almost every day. I haven't learned all the ins and outs yet, but will soon. Yes it was pricey but worth it. I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks

After a few weeks of use I determined that the unit was defective. The unit signals you when it reaches the temperature that you select but I discovered that everything was undercooked. I used an oven thermometer and found that an expected 350 temperature signal rang when the actual oven temperature was 225. I tested this in various oven settings and it was always the same. Tech support was terrible. They first blamed it on my oven thermometer (a new Taylor) and said they would test it with the same thermometer. They promised a call in a two days. No call. I called again and was promised another call back. They did not keep their word. Each time they seemed to deny there was a problem. I called today and after giving my case number was on hold for 20 minutes. I was asked for the third time the same questions. FINALLY they agreed to send another unit. We shall see. This may be a good unit if it works out of the box but if you have to deal with Breville customer service - good luck!

I was in the market for a new toaster oven and did quite a bit of research to find a good one. It took me 6 months & 3 toasters. I wanted an oven that could make a pizza (my regular oven takes 20 min just to heat up) as well as toast a bagel and make 3 grill cheese sandwiches at once as I have 3 young children. I also wanted an oven that automatically pulls out the tray as you open the door. This is important to me for safety reasons. I don't wants my kids to stick their hands all the way inside the oven to get their toast out. Toaster #1) I received a black & decker as a gift and it was awful. It didn't have the pull out tray; It didn't toast bread evenly on both sides; It wasn't large enough to bake a pizza; My bagels were burnt on the outside and cold on the inside; I threw that one away. Toaster #2) Then I purhased the very popular Cuisineart from amazon. All three of my kids and my husband got burned while opening the door. It gets very hot! It didn't have the auto tray pull out, so I had to get a pot holder to pull the tray out; It didn't bake the pizza well because it wasn't powerful enough, even though it fit the pizza; And worst of all, every time I needed to clean the crumb tray, I had to turn the whole toaster around because the crumb tray pulls out from the back. I wrapped this up and returned it. amazon paid for all shippng charges and it was truly a no hassle return. thank you amazon! Toaster #3) Then I got the breville. I love it! My husband loves it! My kids love it! It does it all. The tray automatically pulls out when the door opens so my kids don't get burned when they want to get their toast out; It toasts bagels beautifully; It heats up quickly and bakes pizza nicely; The crumb tray pulls out from the front so it's very easy to clean (this is BIG!); It's a little more money that the cuisineart, but well worth it. This is the first review I've ever written. I'm hoping that my 6 months of agony will save someone else all the hassles I went through. Good luck!

The Breville BOV800XL The Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven is my favorite appliance of all I've ever owned. I needed a new toaster oven and almost overlooked this one because of the price. I figured I had a full-sized convection oven so why would I want to pay over $200 for this? Then I saw it in Bed Bath & Beyond ($250 orig, used a 20% off coupon, got it for $200 plus tax) and realized it wasn't as massive (and it's nice looking!) as I thought it was going to be based on the description. Since reviews were so positive, I decided to take a chance. The first one we brought home had a defect in the LED lights on the display panel so we took it back and exchanged it. This one is perfect. I love to use it to bake potatoes and sweet potatoes in and also fish. It makes PERFECT toast. None of that striped or only toasted-in-one-spot appearance that I have experienced with other toaster ovens. I have not yet made pizza, but am looking forward to trying it out. The pizza pan and other pieces are great, too. This is the perfect appliance for anyone, whether you have a small or large kitchen. I love it for when I don't need the space of a full oven. I also have made use of the top as a warming area for plates which is nice. Some reviewers have complained of not being able to use glass or foil in the oven. The pamphlet included with ours said to use only oven-safe glass and when using foil to be sure that no foil touches the heating elements. I have used both oven-safe dishes and foil without problem. If you're on the fence about this, I urge you to get off that fence and get this great appliance. You'll love it!

Zojirushi EC-BD15 Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker Zojirushi EC-BD15 Fresh Brew Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker

Reviews

I've previously written a review for a machine of a different brand and that model was a very good one, however, there were some issues that we realized it had after we used it for a while which I won't discuss here since it isn't relevant to this machine. First thing I want to say is that we love this machine. I'm not quite a coffee connoisseur but I do appreciate the taste of a nice flavorful cup of coffee and this machine does just that. I've learned a lot about what it takes to get that flavorful cup and this machine seems to have all it takes to do that. The coffee is hot and stays hot for quite a while after it brews. In my house coffee doesn't last too long in the pot to begin with... so hot is not really a problem. My problem was finding a machine to get us that great taste that you find in your favorite diner or restaurant. I like the idea of the stainless carafe as opposed to the hot plate and I can say that this carafe is quality built. Stainless steel inside and out and although the coffee is hot on the inside... the outside of the carafe remains cool to the touch which tells me that this is well insulated. I've had a cup of coffee one hour after we brewed and it was still plenty hot to drink. The machine is very easy to use and maintain. And as far as the #4 filters sticking up out of the basket... please, don't these people have anything else worth complaining about... in other words... it's not a problem. They really don't stick out... just tuck the slight bit under. The machine works fine and we never once had a problem with overflow of water or coffee coming out of the basket. If you set up the machine right, and it doesn't take a person with an engineering masters to do it, then you will be pleased with a great tasting result. My wife likes the simple design which is a bonus for me since the machine fitting in with the kitchen is important as well (to her anyway...:) ) Bottom line, try it out. We are glad we did.

This coffee maker is a replacement for one I bought new, that lasted just one week. That brand shall remain nameless. But, I read Consumers Report and they rated this one pretty high, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did because it's a good one, and I think CU is right on this one. Some of the problems with it is the inability to find many of them on the local store shelves to sample before you buy. But I went on-line, and found a local dealer and went down to take a look. The unit first appear to be cheaply made because it is so light in weight, but it is not cheaply made by any standards. I think it is lighter because it is simpler, which means eaiser to maintain. It come apart easily for cleaning, unlike most of the others. Many of the coffee makers I looked at had such a small area or opening to pour the water in. It is such a hassle to have to fight your coffee maker every night just to have it ready to go the next morning. I like the wide opening on this one. Many complain about the small brew basket that does not hold a #4 cone just right. And I agree. What happens is the paper filter usually pushes the brew basket lift handle up just a bit, and when you swing the water nozzle back into place, it grabs the lift handle. I just push the paper down in the basket a little and learned to live with it. It is my only complaint on this model, and when you get some of these coffee makers home, and have to fight with all their problems every night, this little miss-design is really not so bad compared to others. But ultimately, the basket needs a redesign, and about a half an inch added to it. My only other slight complaint is the carafe lid. You have to line up the dots on the lid just so when pouring your cup, or the coffee just kinda dribbles out. Like I said, this one has it's little faults, that you learn to live with, but compared to the other I have had, and they were not cheap, this one is a winner.

Very happy with my new coffee maker. Carafe keeps coffee warm for hours. Easy to use. Only issue is height, will not fit under my cabinets. Other than that, great purchase, very satisfied

This coffee maker gives me the best cup of coffee I have ever been able to make at home and does it quickly. I have ground my beans and bought good coffee for years and finally enjoy the result. It is easy to clean and use. The carafe will keep the coffee reasonably hot/warm for up to three hours. If I want to make that longer I put boiling water in the carafe for several minutes before I turn the maker on. The only drawback (not for me) might be the height of the unit when the lid is up, 24 inches. Down it easily fits under the upper cabinets in the kitchen. I think you would have to spend a lot more money to get a coffee maker that would make a better cup of coffee.

This is a great coffee maker. The coffee stays hot for several hours. The thermal carafe is well made. The cone drip chamber helps to extract the all the coffee flavor. It brews quickly. Three stars becuase the housing is cheap, thin plastic and I am sure something will crack or break off within a year of so.

Average Rating:

Yes, it will have a steaming hot pot of coffee ready and waiting when you wake up, and the insulated stainless steel carafe will keep it hot for a long time. You can also grab a cup during the brew process if you like...

We have several of these CD's and my kids love them. The music is current and seems to be by the original artists redoing songs with kids singing back ground. My kids are 9 and 10 and for now, this is just what the want.

Its just a bunch of kids singing pop songs. My daughter likes it. Personally, you should take written reviews for music with a grain of salt. Its all based on opinion.

I bought this for my 6 year old son (who loves the commercials) for Christmas. I wish I would've heeded the advice of other reviewers. The music is terrible. Most of the lead singers aren't awful, but it's the chorus of out of tune teeny-bopper girls singing through every song that ruins even the tolerable songs. Honestly, download the clean versions of the songs on the playlist from itunes; you and your child will be much happier.

I bought this for my 10 yr old son for Christmas. He was not very impressed and neither was I. The songs he did know were okay. He didn't even want to hear the whole cd. We got to track 9 and stopped.

Screaming, singing, all the same to a 6yr old. Some of the songs are a little depressing, I like the more upbeat ones. My daughter loves them all!

Circle Jerks - LIve at the House of Blues Circle Jerks - LIve at the House of Blues

I'll start with the basics. The production quality of this DVD is very good. The audio is well done; the singer can be understood. The music is well mixed. The filming allows the viewer to watch the performance without any editing distractions. Now, I'll focus on the performance itself. The Circle Jerks put on one hell of a show. There's a palpable tension between the audience and the singer. A couple times, I was expecting a fight. The set is rammed through at a blistering pace. At forty, did I feel old and ridiculous watching this performance? Sure, I'd be torn up in the audience, left for a lump of lard. But, then again, the guys playing the music are as old as I am, if not a little older. Do the lyrics and politics jive with my old pathetic self? No. But they sure brought back memories of days gone by, when I didn't have a mortgage, children, and could be pissed off while just wanting some "skank."

I have been a plumber for over 14 years and this tool is a one of my most important tool in my arsenal.Great tool for finding leaks behind walls, very user friendly and the zoom feature is perfect for identifying very small objects in drains and plumbing.

Milwaukee 2300-20 M-Spector Digital Inspection Camera, AA Battery Powered I have found the capabilities of this camera amazing considering the price. Clear picture, good lighting, and the zoom function is great. Alkaline batteries are the best choice for me because I may not use it for months at at a time. Great product-Great price

Just received & tested immediately ... corrected upside-down image by gently twisting the camera cable along its' length. Camera is SELF-FOCUSING from less than an inch to 15 feet (length of the room I was in) or more. Ambient light in a room is more than enough for a bright image. I'm an electrictian and do a lot of in-the-wall snaking. Time will tell if a brain, flashlight, mirror, steel snake and a tone tracer can be augmented or replaced by this tool. One thing's confusing ... only $99 ??? Home Depot still over $200.

Although it exactly as advertised, I really didn't appreciate that the size of the flexible tube/camera is somewhat large and not all that flexible. Definitely not for tight spaces. If you want to look in a wall, you need at least a 3/4" hole. Depth of field is limited but again, for the price, I really can't complain. I also was perplexed that the image was upside down and contacted Milwaukee Customer Service. They responded immediately and let me know it was ok to "twist" the camera tube to adjust the picture to "right side up". I'm very happy with the purchase. Less one star only for the size (width) of the camera tube. Kudos to Milwaukee Customer Service for immediate response!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT. IT DOES EVERYTHING I NEED IT TOO AND MORE. PLUS ITS A MILWAUKEE SO IT WILL LAST FOREVER.

Levana BABYVIEW20 Interference Free Digital Wireless Video Monitor with Night Light Lullaby Camera Levana BABYVIEW20 Interference Free Digital Wireless Video Monitor with Night Light Lullaby Camera

Reviews

I returned this after one night of use. The video screen will only go on when it detects some type of audio. The factory settings for the type of audio it has to detect for it to turn on the video can not be adjusted. It says its preset to pick up casual conversation but it wasnt sensitive enough to here our kid when he sat up and was talking... We tested it out ourselve and discovered it just wastn sensitive enough. I called and there is no way to change the preset or to just have audio on all the time. Returned it, trying the Summer Slim that looks like a cell phone, that one can have the audio on all the time if you would like.

We have had this monitor for approximately 6 months. It has now broken twice. The first time, the power cord wouldn't work, so we contacted the company for a replacement. It took TWO WEEKS for them to send a replacement part. I had to go to Radio Shack to buy a universal power cord and adapter--do they really think two weeks is a reasonable amount of time to have a BABY monitor out of commission? Now, it is just completely dead. It is not worth the amount of money they are charging, if it doesn't work in the middle of night when you are worried about your baby. Company is now saying it will take THREE WEEKS to repair. And I have to pay to ship it back to them. And be without a monitor for those three weeks. This is a product that is necessary and needs to be reliable. This product is not reliable and their customer service is lousy.

One thing I wanted to add to the reviews already here- not only is there no interference with this monitor, it doesn't interfere with other things. I read a review that another monitor would cause the wireless internet to not work, but that is not a problem with this. When using this we have no trouble with wireless connections. I also wanted to let you know that I have not had any trouble with the volume. Before I used it I made to sync up the devices per the directions, and the vox worked fine last night. Use several layers of duct tape or something to cover up the "on" light on the camera end. I didn't last night and I think it kept my son up, when he woke up at around midnight, it gave him something to look at and wake up more, rather than going back to sleep on his own like he has for the past week. You're stuck with the nighttime infrared though, faint red circles surrounding the camera lens. But its faint enough to probably not bother him too much. All in all, I am VERY glad I went with this product, and its so so nice to finally be able to see what he's doing! He's 5 months old and just now starting to put himself to sleep, so its really helpful to see what he's doing. I used to think he fell asleep faster, but now I'm realizing he's spending a little more time playing with his feet :)

Great picture and handy crib mounting bracket! Would definitely buy again! Also, this is a great value for the price we paid on Amazon!

its good to be able to see your baby while he is sleeping but thats the only thing it is good for. the sound is just terrible. my baby could be in the room crying and i'll hear him through the wall before it comes over the handset and when his voice does register it cuts in an out. the vox was pointless as half the time the sound didn't work.. also the camera did not fit on my crib. i have a sleigh style crib and the edges are just slightly larger than a normal crib so the adjustable clamp is just about an inch too small, i have to put it on sideways

ZeroWater ZD-013 Filtration Pitcher with Electronic Tester, Filter Included ZeroWater ZD-013 Filtration Pitcher with Electronic Tester, Filter Included

Reviews

What a pleasure it was to get my new ZEROWATER pitcher with filter and water testing device. It worked great for the first five times I filtered water. At first tester read zero and then it kept going up. At the sixth filtering, testing showed above the level (6) where you should replace filter. That means I would be spending about $60 per month. Now,I get filter water at the kiosks here in town. Testing device shows from 6 to 11 which is good enough for me and the water only costs 25 cents per gallon. In other areas where you have cleaner water, the filter might last much longer but not here in west Texas. Testing tap water the device shows 850 to 900 ppm. Hmmmm......... zero water says change filter when it reads six. When I lived in Oregon it might have lasted six months.

Water's never been so good! I absolutely love this water filter. I had been spending over $10 a week on bottled water, and this cost me $40.00 well over a month ago and I have not had to change the filter yet (water poured from the pitcher still reads 0, while my tap water still reads in the 70's). I am the only one using it, but water is also all I drink. The first time I filled it there was water leaking between the reservoir and the filter, but the filter just needed to be screwed in tighter. It filters slowly, but you can dispense water from the bottom, so that's okay. I have read other reviews of people only getting a week or less out of their filters. This must be because of how bad the water from their tap is. If your tap water is horrible then of course it is going to wear out the filter sooner, and it would with any water filter. But if your water is decent and you just want to get rid of chlorine, heavy metals, or that general icky tap water taste, this filter is wonderful.

This Filtering system provides the best tasting water and the meter provided in the box proves it every time. I use the pitcher for my drinking water, water for my ice cubes and water for my coffee. I can taste the difference even in my coffee. No need for bottled water at home! I see some people have complained about the speed in which the filter works. I don't have a probelem with that because I expect the filter to work slower since it is actually taking everything out of the water. Other filters don't come close to taking everything out so they should filter quicker. A great feature is the meter that comes with it. It tells you when you need to change your filter so there is no guessing. Filters are more expensive than others but again I figure you get what you pay for. I am willing to pay a little extra for pure water or as the name of the Product states..... ZERO WATER.

Wife came home and said that they reviewed this filter system as a WOW good water item. So, I said ok let me look. Bought one from Amazon, said good cheap price, $35. Water tasted real good. So, after first filter started to taste bad and go past the 006 that they reccomend changing the filter. comes with some handy electronic device free with your pitcher to test the water. It's 000 when the pitcher is fresh filter. When bad after 006, you replace it. 2 filters are $40. So, after having some bad tasting water, replaced second one. It read 013. Third filter I figured I would test the water every 5 gallons. Started out first pitcher and was 001 to start. Never did see it go to 000. After just 6 gallons, the filter was spitting out 008. So, by ZERO's reccomendations, you should change your filter. 6 gallons mind you. I am not sure what this 000 number is, but I refuse to pay $40 every 10 gallons of water. Water tastes real good, but I am sure that there are filter systems that would do the same 000 thing and since I have their device, I can test it out on some other system. Pros: Excellent water, nice pitcher and spicket. Cons: Filters done last but like 6 gallons when house water reads 199 with their device. Filters cost way to much for only 10 -12 gallson of water per 2. Reccomendation: Unless you have tons of money, I don't see buying this system. Total waste of money for expensive filters, and the filters are so big that they probably the same as putting a plastic water bottle in the land fill.

Bought this to replace my Brita. Thought I would give this a try. The water tastes GREAT! I can tell the difference between it and the Brita. The filter is really industrial though and takes up a good bit of space. Not a problem if Zero Water spent more time looking at functionality than looks. Sure the pitcher might look cool but it's awfully narrow AND the opening to pour water is the smaller than a dime! It takes 5 minutes to get a decent glass of water and it takes 3 refills to fill it completely. If they can figure out a better pitcher design, this would get 5 stars. The other dispensers they have are a nice idea but don't think they are very ideal either. If zero water is reading this, think shorter, squattier pitcher with a large volume opening for dispensing water as well a thumb valve that is larger (which is a nice touch).

Average Rating:

With the ZeroWater Pitcher you can get cleaner, fresher water without tapping into your plumbing line, using bulky water coolers, and wasting your money on expensive bottled water. Thanks to an innovative five-stage filtration process, the ZeroWater Pitcher offers more complete water filtration than ordinary carbon filters...

Philips Norelco T980 Turbo Vacuum Trimmer Philips Norelco T980 Turbo Vacuum Trimmer

The first time I used it, I was not very impressed. But each time I use it now, I am more pleased. Once you learn to use it, you will like it. It is very powerful, even without the boost. The vacuum is not perfect, but a lot better than not having one. I have a full beard and it does not pull my facial hair when I use it. I would highly reccomend it.

I've used this for several months - first such trimmer I've owned, and I've liked it quite a bit. When the blades get dull eventually, I'm sure I'll buy another just like it.

I tried a Wahl to replace my 8 year old Norelco Maverick. Brought it back to Wal-Mart the next day. The T980 is a much better product. Adjustments are easy and there's no additional blade guides to snap on and lose. It will hold the adjustment if you need to remove the guide to trim closer. This is a superior product to the Wahl in every respect. Spend a few extra bucks and get the Norelco. You won't be disappointed.

The trimmer works great. I especially like the adjustable settings that are easy to change. Would highly recommend. The turbo vac feature is wonderful and eliminates the clippings fro going everywhere.

The best of the best, fast, clean and very suitable. And the Amazon price is so good. I've been using trimmers since i was 20 and i can tell this is the best i tried. Go for it.

Duracell Pre Charged Rechargeable NiMH AA Batteries, 4-Pack Duracell Pre Charged Rechargeable NiMH AA Batteries, 4-Pack

Reviews

These things are quality. I use them mostly for my Xbox 360 / Wii controllers, and I've found that they last longer than fresh alkaline duracells. Definitely a smart buy, since they only cost a few times more than alkalines. I recommend getting the "smart" charger for these. There's two of them, the smart and the dumb. The dumb just gives anything you put in it 6 hours of juice, regardless of if its low or not. The smart one lets you put in any combo of batteries (AA or AAA) and it gives each one only what it needs. This extends the life of the batteries significantly.

This new battery technology is supposed to have a longer memory than previous rechargeables, right? Says on the package that they come pre-charged. Stuck 'em in my camera and the indicator showed 1/3 of a charge. We'll see if things get better!

* received pre-charged, but only at 50% capacity. Note, it is best to keep batteries charged at only 50% if they are going to be used immediately. So, it is understandable the factory only charged these to 50% for initial use (they don't know how long it will sit on the shelves) After a few rounds of charge and discharge through regular use (in wireless keyboard and mouse), the full charge now shows at 75% or above. You do need to use it and let it run below 10% power before recharging to get full benefit for recharging. It takes at least 3-5 rounds. After that, it runs well, but seems to drain much faster than the regular alkaline non-rechargeable ones. *compared both duracell and energizer, the duracell works better and recharges to a higher percentage (90% on dura** and only about 75% on energ**) I like this 4 packs at only $9.99. They are good for anything, Wii remotes, flashlights, cd players (most people use iPod now...) I keep a few charged in a plastic bag and rotate them regularly just in case of emergency. recommended buy.

I dunno about anyone else but these batteries only charge to 50% for me accordin to my Wii Remote. I bought the 4x AA + 4xAAA & slapped on four more AA's and all the Double A's charge to 50%. No fair.

I started buying rechargeable batteries when I started using so many in the kids toys. These seem to hold a charge longer than most. Seems like they will be a real money saver in the end.

Case Logic Compact Portable Hard Drive Case Case Logic Compact Portable Hard Drive Case

If you`re thinking to buy a Toshiba Small External Drive (mine 320 Gigas), this case fits very well.

Purchased this for my Seagate FreeAgent Go 500. Fits perfect. Good quality construction. There is also room for a second drive on the other side of the case. Would definitely purchase again.

I purchased this case for the Iomega eGo Mac Edition 250 GB USB 2.0/FireWire 400/800 Portable External Hard Drive 34648 (Alpine White) because it came recommended from Amazon and I checked the pictures and saw that the eGo fit perfectly. HOWEVER, the 250 gb is slightly too large for the case. It does not fit inside the inner lining but the zipper will close around it (which is why I chose it wasn't worth returning) The case is extremely durable and portable. My eGo came with 3 wires, two of them fit in the case, the third I don't really need to carry with me anyway. Great case, just beware that not ALL eGo's fit as well as you'd think!

This case perfectly fit my Seagate Freeagent 500gb hard drive. It fit snugly, and doesn't wiggle around. The other side of the inside of the case has enough room to hold other things, like the usb cable. I can even fit my wallet and keys in there if I organise it right. The exterior seems rugged, and its pretty hard, but with enough pressure, it will bend in the middle. It's very strong on the corners. I wouldn't recommend dropping your hard drive, but this is plenty of protection if you are just tossing it into a backpack.

This case is great. My Passport by Western Digital fits in it with room to spare. There is a stretchy strap to hold it in place, it is easy to get in and out, and there is a mesh pocket on the other side to hold the usb cord and extra jump drives. I throw it in my bag and carry it with me all the time. It is hard and durable, and a great little case.

Case is nice, fits the device very well. There is a little compartment for the wire as well. Simple, nice just what I wanted.

As an afterthought I decided to get this case for my portable external hard drive. I'm glad I did as I carry it in my computer bag and although robust, the plastic could get banged around a bit. The carrying case also has a pocket for the cable which is handy. The price was also four dollars cheaper than my local box store.

Nice case, although I am actually using it as a case for my Garmin nuvi 260W, not for a portable hard drive. Has the necessary protection for the screen of the Garmin, and fits it perfectly. It has a little pocket inside for the USB cable if you are actually using it for the hard drive it is meant for. For the price, you can't really go wrong.

Received the product as announced. Good material, nice finish and enough protection for my WD My Passport Hard Disk specially because it scratches easily. The additional pocket for the USB cable is a convenient add. Just perfect for carrying my Hard disk to my work or when I'm traveling.

I bought two of these to hold my 500gb and 1tb passport drives. These are tiny! I had a case logic one and it was huge by comparison, though it was a bit tougher. Neoprene is more than enough to give your drive some padding. It is slightly longer than the drive itself, not by much though, maybe enough room for a thumb drive or two. The little pocket for the cord could be a) a little bigger and b) have a little Velcro tab to seal it shut... but that is me being ultra fussy :)

i use this product with WD my passport elite, case little bit bigger than the product, when put the cable in the case pocket its seems hard do close zipper.over all its a good and stylish case on the market.

This case is very tough and strong, a good buy if you plan to carry your hdd with you.

This carrying case is ideal for transporting the external hard drive, and provides great protection for the HD. It is exactly what I expected.

Just got this case to go along with a 500GB passport and it's a great fit, the insides are smooth to avoid scratching the shiny hdd surface, and it came with a western digital branded velcro strap to strap the usb cord. i highly recommend it

The case is so small and compact and it fits in the drive and the cable very well. It is hard outside so it feels safe to keep your device.

I bought this Camera for my 3yr-old daughter. She enjoyed the camera a lot for the first week, but after a while, she got over it because the camera has too many features and it's complicated to use for a 3yr old. Would recommend to wait until she is a little older.

Our son's camera does the exact same thing as "Scott C Moore" stated in his January 2010 review. The mode on the camera changes by itself when tilted forward or to the side. Unfortunately for us, our son did not immediately start playing with his camera until recently. When we attempted to return it or exchange it, it was already too late. We purchased the camera for our son in December (2009). It's February now. Two months old and the camera is unusable! Boo!! Will contact Vtech and update later.

I bought this camera for my four year old niece as a Christmas gift. She loves it. It was easy for her to use. She figured out how to do almost everything on it by herself. The picture quality is surprizingly good for a kids camera. It seems to be very durable, she has dropped it several times and it still works.

I bought this for my 4 year old son and he loves it. He plays with it everyday. He has dropped it a couple of times and is still in perfect shapes. He was able to figure out how to use the boarders/hats and play games by himself. He has taken over 900 pictures and over 40 videos. The only problem is the cover to the slot where the SD card goes is rubber and held on with a little rubber peice. The cover easily broke off. Other than that it is a perfect gift for a kid that loves taking pictures.

We bought this for a last minute christmas gift for my 3-year-old. I was very excited about the price as I thought it was a great deal. However, after only a couple of days, the settings seemed to switch themselves when her hands weren't even near the 'Cassette' that controlled the settings. The batteries did seem to last longer than expected and the picture quality is a bit better than I expected. But the ever changing settings make the camera very hard to use. Overall, not too pleased.

This projector is small and easy to set up. Great value for the price. The room has to be dark and the wall not more than about 10 feet away for good results.

this thing is cheap and great for kids for use in the dark. If it's not dark and your not a kid spend some more money and get something else. Remember your paying a very low price for a product worth every penny. Works as well as $100 projectors i've seen in other stores.

Bought for my 14 year old son for christmas. He loves it! He has watched movies, and played his Xbox on this! only neg. is that you need a very dark room for good viewing.Keep in mind...it is a toy. otherwise....good value for the money!

I received this as a Christmas gift and we have had several "movie nights". We set up a theater in the family room and break out the popcorn and candy. The whole family enjoys it. From a technical standpoint, the image the EyeClops projects is slightly tilted and it is a little difficult to adjust it so that the picture is straight. The sound was low in the unit but we hooked up external speakers and that fixed the volume problem. It also created more of a movie-like surround sound. We haven't tried it outside yet and there are some limitations with what devices will hook up to the EyeClops. For example, I couldn't plug it into my laptop but that was really a limitation on the laptop rather than the EyeClops. It is great for small children who may not be ready to sit through a movie at a regular movie theater because it allows them to get up and move around without disturbing other moviegoers. Overall, I am very happy with the EyeClops and would recommend it to others.

I could never get it to focus. Picture is very very grainy. Tried it with two different devices. And it is way too dim to even see in a very dark room.

This is my first telescope and I couldn't be happier with the overall quality of the construction and ease of setting up, no tools required. This is a great starter telescope for the money paid with no extra taxes and free shipping how could I complain it was a great deal in my opinion.

Overall this was a good purchase. My son is a new star gazer and this is just what we needed. It was easy to put together. It took a little while to find something in the sky. We could see the moon great and even make out its craters. I wish we had more magnification--can get more lens for extra purchase however. It is a sturdy telescope and we are happy with it so far. As for delivery, it was here the next day--that blew my socks off!!

the quality of the item is OK. I am looking for a suitable power telescope to look more details on the planets near us. This item can not do it. I used a camera with digital zoom to look at the moon, the result is better than using this item.

The telescope tube is good, but the only bad on this part is the tripod stand, it does not tighten the telescope to a particular location, it should have been more sophesticated and easy to tighten up. I am not at all happy with the tripod

I was disappointed when the 1st one we received was damaged since it was for Christmas. We sent it back to Santa and received a new one quickly! My son loves his telescope and so does my hubby. It's easy to use and the clarity is good. It's a good, inexpesive option for your little astronomer!

Nikon Capture NX 2 Full Version Nikon Capture NX 2 Full Version

one of the best photo editing programs you can buy without going to a full blown suite like photoshop. the easy of use, and the ability to edit photos is outstanding. this programs handles probably 98 percent of everybody's needs to edit pictures. don't know how compatible with windows. i use it on a mac. i recommended this program to several of my friends.

This was a great addition to go with my Nikon DSLR - It is not an easy software to learn, but it does a great job -- though you do have to have another photo editing program if you want to do more than just enhance your photos.

I am learning to use Capture NX 2 after many years experience with Photoshop, and some experience with Adobe Camera RAW. This will do things that Camera RAW will not. Camera Raw will do things that NX 2 will not. You cannot jump between the two programs to use both tools on a single RAW file. However, it's worth the time for difficult shots to process the RAW and then convert the better result to TIFF. I have been working on scanned slides in TIFF format opening them in Capture NX 2 and only using Auto Exposure followed by D-Lighting in precision mode and then saving as a TIFF. I open the TIFF in Adobe Camera RAW, make some tweaks and then finish up in Photoshop. I am very impressed with Nik Software plug-ins for Photoshop, and NX 2 has some of the genius under the hood. I was thinking that it would be nice to have some of the features of NX 2 within Photoshop, so I bought Viveza 2 and it is wonderful. I also am very impressed with Nik's Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete. The U-Point technology works well in these two plug-ins and in Capture NX 2. It gives you a different approach to applying effects to a particular area. I'm leaving this review because the other reviews refer to mostly Photoshop Elements and not Adobe Camera RAW. Hope this helps.

As a NX2 user for few years I've seen how it has evolved and turned to be a great product specially for Nikon users. From the great U point technology to the full control of raw images it is worth to have it (specially if you shoot raw images).

Very good for the price. Works well on Windows 7 and Vista. Bit of a learning curve but comes with a book. NikonUSA website has some useful tutorials.

Great to see the principles of flash photography illustrated. Sold me on the Nikon CLS system.

I have being a Nikonian for over the last 5 years and I am a very creative and intuitive person. The photography is just a hobby for me but I consider myself an advance amateur. I wanted to get this DVD because I was feelling that I could get more of my Nikon flashes that I was getting. To my surprise I was right, the creative lighting system has no limits. Your limits are your creativity and of course your money. But this DVD shows you in a very simple maner how to get the perfect picture out of a situation and improve your results as a photographer. Once again thank you Nikkon for another good product

Agree with the above reviews: Nauseating music. Many helpful ideas and approaches, the creativity was inspiring. However to be thorough,to understand CLS, until one is really familiar with the system, one has to meter. Problems with CLS were not gone into, for example when my D200 A mode all comps at 0, popup is set commander or even with flash by cable and SB800 set remote or manual, @1/250, set aper at f16, 11, 8, 5.6 all are within 0.02 EV acc to Sekonic L308S (closer than that since there is a consistent +.01 difference, impressive!) But trying f4.5 consistently meters 4.05, and f1.8 is similarly low. The ambilight is the same, so it would be nice to have replaced the infomerical wrapup with "OK, when we get an exposure problem here's my path to trace out the source on these immensely complex cameras." Rather than just dial in a flash foreground correction we need to understand why the meter differs from our settings. I didn't from this video. Automation is terrific but like liberty, needs eternal vigilance.

a well produced dvd about flash. off camera and using flash like it should be used. finally a way to use the commander mode to use off camera flash to your benefit.

This is a MUST HAVE DVD for anyone who has any of the TTL Flashes produced by Nikon. Hi-Tech and a great tutorial. 2 1/2 hours long but moves fast. Could have been more especially the part from McNally. Now I just need more SB-900's. I did not know you could use the flip-flash on the camera as a master command module to drive other Nikon Flashes equipped to be driven as slaves. GREAT DVD. I would buy it again.
