I bought this gift for my husband for when he goes hunting. He's been testing it out with the animals that go through our yard and is very pleased with the pics it takes.

I recently received the DLC Covert II as a Christmas gift. The video mode worked fine, but the units camera mode was malfunctioning. I emailed DLC and their response was immediate and positive. The employee apologized for my problem and asked me to return the defective unit, stating they would send me a new 'tested' camera unit at once. There was no hesitation. A friend of mine has had a DLC Covert camera for about 2 years. He loves it. His has never let him down. I have seen his photos and videos. I think this is a great camera. I was dissappointed by receiving the defective unit, but hey, stuff happens. At least they are making it 'right', no questions asked. That's pretty rare nowadays.

This is a great little trail camera, I have been using Trail Camera for about 6 years now. I have 4 units total, I have sold two of these units and replace them with the DLC Covert II Assassins. The battery life on these units are 1st in any class of trial camers, I have been running my unit for 2 months now and have taker over 3000 pictures and 500 video clips, I am still using the original batteries I put in the untit when I got it. I believe this unit could last over a year on 1 set of batteries, when taken limited pictures or video. I have not seen another trail camera that will even come close to this. It also takes great pictures day and night. I have two of these units and another one on the way....... I've never had to use it but have been told fist hand this product has execellent service if you ever need to use it.

Are u kidding? This is the worst trail camera I have used. The old 35mm were a sight better. We had fresh snow everyday this week I put out fresh feed everyday this week the place had fresh tracks everyday this week the camera took one pic of the woods. One deer walked right up to the camera and the thing still didnt take its pic. It walked about 10 yards straight at the camera. Any pics at dawn or dusk are totally whited out. What time of day are deer most active? Duh. The batteries lasted 10 days. Its junk spend some more money and get a good camera.

So far so good. The camera has been out for a week through the rain and it is still working so I am happy with it. For the money this camera is a great deal! One thing to add is that during light transition times (dusk/dawn) there is a problem with whiteout. Probably occurs because not enough light for the mode the camera is in. Other than the white out for most of my daytime pictures I am happy with this camera.
